Life can be tough and challenging much of the time. My dad has always said life is about choices, over the years I have made my share of bad ones and I have made my share of good ones also. Next Tuesday I will say goodbye to my mother, Deborah Hodge. She and I both made good and bad choices when it came to our relationship. There were ups and downs as everyone experiences through life. We were no exception.
But know this friends....when the final curtain falls please make sure you have held that hand, and said all you need to say. Time is fleeting and we are not promised tomorrow.
Goodbye Mom, that little boy with cotton white hair will ALWAYS love you!

I can't believe that Debbie is gone.  I was just thinking of her and she has been on my mind.  One time when she spent the night at Grandma's when Tommy and Patsy left her and Pam in Madisonville she slept with me.  Uncle Ed and Jean had been cutting up and acting a fool and had fallen on my bed and the slats came loose and the bed fell.  Uncle Ed fixed it but not very good.  That night the bottom of the bed fell and Debbie and me just turned over and went to sleep with the foot of the mattress on the floor.  I just thought of Debbie a day or two ago and laughed about that.

Bless her heart I can't believe it.
