Betty Marie Patterson, age 77, of the Ballplay Community, Madisonville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, January 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on October 10, 1946. She was a lifelong member of the Ballplay Community. She was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Madisonville, she was also an active member of Ballplay Fire Department for many years. She also loved working on the farm with her family, enjoyed quilting, family genealogy, helping in Bible School and the church nursery.

Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Victor Dale Patterson, infant son, father and mother, Garfield and Imogene Farner Kirkland, brothers, Hardy and Carl Kirkland, nephew, Terry Best;

Survivors, son, Bryan Patterson, daughter, LeAnn Patterson, grandchildren, Chandler Patterson, Chesney McDonald, 2 of her biggest enjoyments was her great-grandchildren, Whitney Marie and Walker Dale, a special thank you to her friend and caregiver, Donna Matoy, special friends, Tammy Suttles and Gail Welch and special cousins, Jim Cole and Merle Pearson. The Patterson family would like to extend a special thank you to Parkwest Covenant Health for their intensive care nursing staff.

Graveside Service & Interment 3:00 P.M. Friday, Little Tellico Cemetery, Rev. Cody Baxter and Rev. Zad Tomberlin officiating. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
