MANIS, Jr., Robert Kennard (R.K.), age 81,  of Matthews, NC, formerly of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home.  He was born and raised in Madisonville, TN, where he resided until 1997 when he moved to Laurinburg, NC, where he worked at Manis Custom Crestline Homes until he retired in 2013.  After that, he and his wife located to Matthews where he lived until his death.  He is preceded in death by parents Robert (Kennard) Manis and Lela Joines Manis and brother Fred K. Manis.

13 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren
Lela, Robert, Seth, Callie and Courtney, Gracie, Emma, Leah, Alayna, Owen, Landyn, Carter & Lawson, Jonathan, Trinity, McKenzie & Jacob.  He loved all of them dearly.
Graveside service & interment 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Notchey Creek Cemetery.  Local arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
