Rachel would have graduated with the MHS class of 1960
Rachel Magilene Croft born October 10, 1940 in Monroe Co., TN and passed away December 31, 1971 in Monroe Co., TN. She was the daughter of James Joshua Croft and Minnie Ethel Newman Croft.
She was preceded in death byher mother, Minnie Ethel Newman Croft; sister, Elvelyn Croft Ditmore; brothers, James Joshua Croft, Jr. and Harold Chester Croft.
Survivors- father, James Joshua Croft Sr.
Brothers and sisters-in-laws, R.C. Croft, Clarence and Anna Louise Ingram Croft, Elbert Resteen and Jamilar Lucille Watson Croft, Troy Wesley and Anna Mae Bolix Croft;
Ssisters- Ora Mae Croft Nubert, Ruby Jane Croft Kile; sister-in-law, Ruby Mae Harris Croft.
Many nieces and nephews.
Rachel is buried at Notchey Creek Cemetery, Madisonville, TN

8/29/10 - All of Rachel's family have passsed on now except for one brother, Clarence.
I think she was the first to die in our class.
She came from a big family and was very quiet and shy. She lived in the Notchey Creek community and was in our class there and went to Notchey Creek church for a while but then moved to another area. She didn't graduate with us because I think she quit school. She was a very sweet girl.
