Nancy Jean Steele

November 29, 1942 - August 12, 2018

Steele, Nancy Jean Pack, age 75, died peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1942 in Madisonville, Tennessee to the late Della B (husband, the late Lee Springer) and the late Creed Pack. She loved her family, visiting with neighbors, animals – especially cats, and gardening, and was a retired U.S. Postal worker. 

Survivors, daughter & son-in-law, Kelly Michele (Steele) & Kent Eaton, Grosse Pointe, Michigan; son & daughter-in-law, Joseph Wesley and Jeannie (Richardson), Steele, Townsend, Montana; seven grandchildren & spouse, Melinda Jean (Eaton) & Zac Hoffman, Batavia, Illinois; Bethany Joan Eaton, Panama City, Panama; Landon Thomas Eaton, Grosse Pointe, Michigan; Tommiejo Richardson Steele, Ronnie Maey Steele, Ty Henry Steele and Jacklynn Rai Steele, all of Townsend, Montana, one great granddaughter – Lila Michele Hoffman, Batavia, Illinois, brother, Ray Pack, Maryville, She also leaves behind her wonderful Maryville, neighbors, Kelly and John Bailey, who were like family. Preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Carol Cain, formerly of Greentown, Indiana.

A simple graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's of Tennessee, 2270 Sutherland Ave., Suite 202, Knoxville, TN 37919. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
