Howard Douglas (Doug) Moser of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2003 at his home.
He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. of America and former president of Local 309, United Steel Workers of America. He was a member of Vonore Masonic Lodge #658 and Hiwassee Church of God. He was a son of God and a friend to the needy. He was 60.
Preceded in death by: parents, Charles and Anna Belle Wiseman Moser; and brothers, Bill, M.L., Ivan and Lloyd Moser.
Survivors include: wife of 42 years-Patricia Moser;
Daughter-Lisa Moser of Sweetwater;
Son-David Moser of Lenoir City;
Grandchildren-Christa, Stephanie and Nicholas;
Sisters-Dot Pratt of Maryville; Arnita Pratt of Knoxville; and Ruby Isbill of Friendsville;
Brothers-Joe Moser of Knoxville; Stanley Moser of Kingston; and Tom Moser of Lenoir City;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were 8 p.m., Sunday, with the Revs. Walter Isbill, Guinn Green and James McFall officiating. Interment was 11 a.m., Monday, in Hiwassee Church of God Cemetery. Masonic service was 7:45 p.m., Sunday.

Lisa Ann Moser of Madisonville, went to be with Jesus at 5:50 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Hiwassee Church of God. She was a cancer survivor of 34 years and also battled a stroke and heart attacks.
She was 45.
Preceded in death by: husband, Mitchell Arp; and father, Douglas Moser.
Survivors include: daughter-Stephanie Arp of Vonore;
Grandson-Ayden Arp of Knoxville;
Mother-Patricia Borden Moser of Madisonville;
Brother-David Moser and family of Lenoir City;
Several aunts, uncles and cousins;
Special friend-Keith Roberts of Madisonville.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m., Sunday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Guinn Green officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., before the service. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
