Clifford Eugene Williams

April 22,1942 - April 23, 2025

Clifford E. Williams, 83, of Sweetwater passed away on April 23, 2025, at home. He was born on April 22,1942, to Josie and Arthur Williams. A native of Monroe County and member of East Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church.

Cliff was employed in the feed industry by Security Feeds, ConAgra and the Farmers' Cooperative system for forty years, working in East Tennessee, Northern Georgia and Western and Central North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Cliff is preceded in death by his brothers Carl, Roy, and Wayne Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Gaye Williams; daughter Tammy Williams; four grandchildren Jessica (Alex) Gilley, Leslie Stevens and Megan Tunkel; five great grandchildren Kaylee Gilley, Luke Stevens, Scarlett Stevens, Zella Stevens and Ezra Stevens. Also left to cherish his memory are brother and sister-in-law; Alfred Williams, Talley (Phyllis) Walker. Keith (Bootsie) Turnbill, and Dot Roberson.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the East Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Marty Goforth officiating.
