Dear Anne---I wanted to send my love and thanks to you for all you have done
and are still doing for our Nancy. You have been such a rock for Nancy, not
only finding her a stimulating professional position, but sustaining her in
every other way as well. Being the executrix is no easy task, and you and
Bob Gallagher deserve our never ending thanks for making Nancy's many trains
run on time. I would so appreciate a sense of when you might want to arrange
a service for Nancy in D.C. so I can make the necessary arrangements for
travel and hotel. You will see from my earlier e-mail that we are planning
something in Boston in January, but, of course, if you wanted to do
something in January in D.C., we could postpone ours for later.
