Active Minds (Before Nancy Davis retired in 2008 she was the
Coordinator of the Garrett Lee Smith Campus Youth Suicide
Prevention Grant Program (DPTSSP/CMHS/SAMHSA). She was
also enthusiastic about the work of Active Minds, which was
started by a college student at the University of Pennsylvania, who
lost her brother to suicide. The organization now has chapters at
297 colleges and universities across the US. Donations can be made
in Nancy Davis' memory to Active Minds, the only national
organization that uses students to change the conversation about
mental health on college campuses.)
