Their Son...Fred Rees Skillern (Hamilton County Commissioner) married Betty Stroud and they had one son.... Rees Skillern.

Their son, Rees has been in Vanderbilt Hospital with a very serious tumor...something very unusual...his mother stayed over there with him until they brought him home. He is recovering there at this point. (1/15/12)

Sad to report that Rees Skillern Jr. passed away January 24, 2012 at the age of 49 and after a long illness. See obit here.
