Q. What time of day was this, Mr. Hargis?

A. I don't know- in the evening.

Q. The polls had closed - it was election day?

A. No; the polls had not closed.

Q. The polls close at 4 o'clock, don't they? You are positive about that -that the polls had not closed?

A. No; they had not closed.

Q. Where had you voted?

A. Vonore.

Q. How did you get out here?

A. I came in the bus-I imagine.

Q. What bus?

A. Tennessee Coach.

Q. Where did you get off?

A. I got off this side of Vonroe, three miles.

Q. How did you get to Madisonville.

A. I imagine I came in the Tennessee Coach - I ride it back and forth all the time.

Q. But you don't remember that day?

A. No.

Q. Where had you been immediately previous to this - to this filling station?

A. No - out in this end of town.

Q. What time did you get to Madisonville that day?

A. I would say either come about 8 o'clock or 11 o'clock - it was 11 o'clock because I went to Vonore and voted and came on back home.

Q. Were you down here all day from 11 o'clock in the morning?
