DUNLAP -- Matthew Craig Tate, 16, died Thursday, August 5, 2004, in an automobile accident. Matthew would have been a junior at Sequatchie County High School.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Dale Howard and Great-grandparents, J.P. Tate, John L. and Mary Ann Moore and Lavella Coots.
Survivors include father Craig Tate, Mother Valorie Vandenburg, Dunlap; half-sisters, Lauren Tate Haley Stephenson, Sarah Tate and Sadie Bunch; half-brother Gavin Bunch; grandparents Rayburn and Nancy Tate, Dunlap, and Betty Mayhem, Mentone, AL.; great-grandparents, Lucille Tate, Dunlap, Dennis and Virginia Coots, Hammondville, AL, and Robert and Reba Howard, Trenton, GA.; aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CDT Saturday in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerome Stephenson officiating.
Burial in Condra Cemetery. Visitation: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. CDT today.
